16. What are the stages of proofs and approvals?

Sculpted head – We hand sculpt the head to resemble your primary photo. At this stage you can request changes to facial features like nose, mouth, expression and skin texture. Changes are made at no charge. Once you approve the head it is baked and further face changes may require additional fees.
Body proof (if applicable) – We sculpt the body based on your notes and any reference photos. You can request changes to pose or position during this stage. After approval the body is baked and major changes would require additional work.
Complete proof – We show you the finished doll. At this point, most customers approve with minor color adjustments if needed. You can request a one time complexion color adjustment at no charge. All details such as text, logos and colors should be checked carefully before final approval. Once approved, we final bake and ship the doll. We cannot modify the doll after it leaves our factory and we do not accept returns for modifications.
Notes – The primary photo is used only to create the doll features. Our goal is a strong resemblance, but this is a caricature style collectible, not a perfect replacement of the person. We rely on your photos, notes and feedback throughout the process.
